Welcome to the official website of PIAA District XI

The District XI website, is the result of a collaborative effort of the PIAA, the District XI Committee, the PIAA website staff and the District XI website coordinator. This website serves as the official source for all District XI news items, sport tournament playoff dates, times, locations and brackets. The website also includes links for the District XI Handbook, local media contacts, Championship History information, the Colonial League, the Schuylkill League, the Lehigh Valley Conference and the Mountain Valley Conference. A new Calendar link has been added to share a graphical display of all tournaments occurring within a selected month.

We welcome you to the home of PIAA District XI at http://district11.piaa.org.

  • Athletic Trainer coverage for District XI events  ( approved by the District XI Committee 1/12/08 )

    • Schools participating in the District XI  Basketball tournament are responsible for providing "Athletic trainer " services for their school at all games in which their school's team(s) are involved. District XI is not responsible for providing an athletic trainer for teams involved in games in the District XI Tournament. The providing of "Athletic Trainer" services rests with the participating teams. Schools unable to provide services of an Athletic Trainer may contact  the game manager to make arrangements to provide for the services of an Athletic Trainer for their school, at a game in which their school is involved. However, if District XI provides the services of an Athletic Trainer, District XI reserves the right to "charge" that school for providing that service.

For qualifying round games, the host school is responsible for arranging to have a physician, an

ambulance and an EMS crew either at the contest site or "on call", to provide emergency care.

For all other District XI basketball tournament games, the District XI appointed contest

manager will contact the site manager of the host school, who will in turn, be responsible for

making arrangements for providing emergency medical care.
